One thing I have to say is PLEASE read your pet food ingredient list. Your pets life depends on it!  Of course “every” bag of pet food says they are healthy and good for your pet. But its simply NOT true. Look out for these ingredients & don’t give it to your pet if it includes…

CORN : Also known as a “FILLER” It adds bulk to the bag & makes you think your getting a large quantity and therefor getting your moneys worth. CORN is a CHEAP FILLER that saves the “Manufacture” money. But as for your pet… CORN is INDIGESTIBLE. it is also known to cause ALLERGIES for your pet. One sign of an allergy is dry flakey skin & from constant scratching, your pet can loose their hair. Or if your pet licks their paws a lot…that could be a sign that they have an ALLERGY. Also CORN like WHEAT is stored in huge silo’s for a long period of time and has been known to grow mold. This mold is very TOXIC and can cause ILLNESS & even DEATH in your pet.

WHEAT : This ingredient has all the same affects as CORN. It is INDIGESTIBLE & it is a  known ALLERGEN. It also sits in a silo for a long period of time & its known to grow mold & be very TOXIC for your pet.

SOY : Also INDIGESTIBLE & a known ALLERGEN

BY-PRODUCTS : As described in a previous post this is very bad for your pet. BY-PRODUCTS are an INDIGESTIBLE protein source. Therefor the company selling the food can claim that it is a “high source of protein”. But I wouldn’t want to eat this so called source of protein.  It includes intestines, blood, bones, feathers, heads, feet, eyes, bowels, urine, fur, ect. The WHOLE DEAD GROUND UP BODY of any animal. Dead from DISEASE or other. ROAD-KILL even EUTHANIZED pets.

BHA/BHT : This is a preservative deliberately put in your pets food which is known to cause TUMORS and LIVER and KIDNEY DYSFUNCTION.

MEAT/BONE MEAL : includes dead pets & road kill and diseased animals and euthanized pets.

ARTIFICIAL COLOR/FLAVORS : The label may say something like…(red 40, yellow 5 and other colors)  Dyes put in food are not good for YOU and they are certainly not good for your pet. They are actually put in the food so YOU the consumer thinks, ooooo that looks colorful, bright, vibrant, healthy & therefor you BUY it. (But DONT.) Its a trick to make you buy it.

SUGAR/CORN SYRUP : Our HEALTHY pets don’t need SUGAR or CORN SYRUP. This can cause our pets to be over weight & unhealthy.

ANIMAL FAT: Manufactures put this in your pet’s food to make it taste better. But again…our pets DONT need FAT. As with humans it causes obesity & clogged arteries & therefore health PROBLEMS.

So, READ THE LABLE on the food you are considering for your pet. If you care for your pet as much as I KNOW you do…PROTECT THEM…KEEP THEM HEALTHY…FEED THEM HEALTHY. Your pet will thank you & will be a part of your life for a long time to come.
